Meet Bubba – “Get Yur Carpit Cleaned CHEAP!”

Posted on by admin

Meet Bubba!

Hi, my name’s BUBBA. I’m the cheapest carpit cleaner in town! Many has tried to beat my price, but I keep comin’ out on bottom. Here I am with my brand new van – new to me anyhow. I only paid $500 for it. I spent 2 years negotiatin’ with the junk yard. I thank I done good. Now I’m a ready to clean yore carpit!

Now I ain’t certified or nothin’ like that. I don’t belowng to no assoceeatiun or have nary a designatiun, but I’m CHEAP! I’ll come soak yur carpit for you and you can get by for a whole two weeks before you have ta replace it! In fact, my survice is a “value added survice” (I learned that term from my uncle Jed – he’s purty smart ya know). Anyhow, to add value, I’m gonna give you a free pair of rubber boots to wade around in the water that I’m gonna leave in your carpit!

Now, the only catch is that you gotta return them boots to my trailer within two weeks wether yur carpet’s dry ur not. I need them boots back before my next job! Now, if my truck don’t start (which happens a lot), then I won’t be

doin’ my next job, therefore you can keep them boots for a little while longer.

Now, if for some strange reason you should want your carpit cleaned by a real professional company, and if you don’t mind payin’ a little extre’, then you need ta call AYC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning. I don’t know how them fellers do it, but they seem to know eva’ thang there is about carpit cleanin’. If you want somebody with a great reputation (keepin’ in mind that mine ain’t too good!), and you won’t somebody that’s experienced like you wooten believe – somebody that has a bonafide education in proper carpit cleanin (just seems like too much work fur me), well then you might just wont to call AYC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning. I can’t believe tha fancy trucks them boys got over thar at AYC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, they must a cost ‘em a purty penny with all that faaancy equipment they got on them trucks! And to top it all off, them boys tell folks they gone give their money back if folks watten satisfied! Can you imagine such a thang! If I did that, I wooten have one red cent to my name!

How Regular Vacuuming is Important – Maintain Your Carpets

Posted on by admin

The Importance of Regular Vacuuming!

Getting your carpets cleaned can be something of an ordeal. You have to move around your furniture, possibly even take a day or two off of work in order to let people into your home to do the cleaning. The more often you have to get this done, the more of a pain it is. But some people fail to see that there’s a clear correlation between how often they need to get their carpets cleaned and whether or not they vacuum regularly. It may come as a surprise to find that many people don’t understand how regular vacuuming is important to the life of their carpets.

Understanding how regular vacuuming is important doesn’t require much specific knowledge about carpet care. It’s common sense that it’s good for you to vacuum your carpets to keep them clear of any debris. Unfortunately, people don’t think as often about the possible adverse effects of failing to vacuum regularly. The longer dirt stays on your carpet, the more likely it is that it will get ground into your carpet fibers. The deeper it gets into your carpet fibers, the more difficult it will be to get them out, until a simple vacuuming just won’t cut it anymore.

If you don’t understand how regular vacuuming is important, it could cost you a lot of time and money. It’s far easier to vacuum once a week than to have to deal with the hassle of calling in a professional carpet cleaning service. And vacuum technology continues to improve all the time, making vacuums that are easier to use and more effective at the same time. Instead of procrastinating, think about how much money, time, and hassle you could be saving by vacuuming your carpets regularly. If it makes it easier, you can even vacuum different parts of the house on different days.

But if you took too long to realize how regular vacuuming is important to your carpets, you should call in the experts to come and clean your carpets for you. AYC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, Inc. has years of experience and a stellar reputation in the industry for the quality of their work. They work with state-of-the-art equipment to get your carpets as clean as possible. And they will treat you and your carpets with the utmost courtesy and care. That might be all it takes to encourage you to start taking better care of your carpet.

The Importance of Placing Mats at Each Entrances That Collect 8 Foot Steps – Protection for High Traffic Areas

The Importance of Placing Mats at Each Entrances That Collect 8 Foot Steps – Protection for High Traffic Areas

Posted on by admin

Area rugs

It’s common knowledge that high-traffic areas in your home will show more evidence of wear. If you keep your carpet long enough, you’ll clearly be able to see the paths that foot traffic will wear down into your carpet. These paths also bear evidence of whatever dirt people who enter your home are tracking in. Because these high-traffic areas wear down faster, you may find yourself needing to replace your carpet earlier than you expected because just a few areas are wearing down too fast. This emphasizes the importance of placing mats at each entrances that collect 8 foot steps.

The importance of placing mats at each entrances that collect 8 foot steps is due to the importance of giving your carpet extra protection in those high-traffic areas. Any area that gets hit with 8 or more foot steps in a given day is prone to wear down faster than other areas of your carpet. By setting a rug or mat down at the entrances to these areas, you can ensure that the carpet in this area are protected from accelerated damage. Instead of damaging your carpet directly, the mats or rugs will bear the brunt of the damage. And it’s much easier to replace a rug than it is to replace an entire area of carpet.

Another reason for the importance of placing mats at each entrances that collect 8 foot steps is that, when people enter a home, this is when they bring in the most dirt and debris from outside. If they step onto a mat instead of stepping directly onto the carpet, the mats collect all the dirt from their shoes instead of your carpet. This will keep your carpet cleaner for much longer, and will make sure that it doesn’t get stained. And it’s also easier to clean a mat than to have to pay to have your entire carpet cleaned.

If you didn’t learn about the importance of placing mats at each entrances that collect 8 foot steps in time, you may need to call in some professional carpet cleaners to clean your carpets. AYC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners have many years of experience behind them, as well as the best in training. You can be sure that they’ll do a stellar job on your carpets, and that they’ll be professional and thorough. And, once your carpets are spic and span again, you can buy some rugs for those high-traffic entrances.

The Disadvantages of Using a Store Bought Spotter Versus Using an Approved CRI Spotter – Not All Spotters are Created Equal

The Disadvantages of Using a Store Bought Spotter Versus Using an Approved CRI Spotter – Not All Spotters are Created Equal

Posted on by admin

We live in the age of “do it yourself.” It’s become more popular than ever to undertake home improvement on your own, and there is a bevy of products invading your local home improvement stores that claim that they will help you to do a professional job all by yourself. But many of these products are just cheap knock-offs that look like the real thing. Take carpet spot cleaners, for example. The disadvantages of using a store bought spotter versus using an approved CRI spotter are many, but most people are unaware of the differences, so they buy an inferior product in their ignorance.

The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) is committed to researching facts about carpets and rugs, including how to maintain and care for them and what the best methods and tools are for caring for them. The CRI is well aware of the disadvantages of using a store bought spotter versus using an approved CRI spotter. The CRI recommends certain spotters over others because they are more powerful and more specifically designed to remove spots than store bought spotters. They have been proven effective and have more going for them than the mere fact that they are small and easy to use.

Of the disadvantages of using a store bought spotter versus using an approved CRI spotter is that they aren’t really spot cleaners, per se. The store bought versions of these spotters are often little more than smaller versions of hot water extraction vacuums. While this type of vacuum is perfectly adequate for general dirt removal, spots and stains require special attention, and only CRI approved machines can really provide the performance that these store bought spotters claim to provide. CRI approved spotters may be more expensive, but you get what you pay for, and they provide excellent cleaning capabilities along with their portability.

Once you’re aware of the disadvantages of using a store bought spotter versus using an approved CRI spotter, you’ll be sure to opt for the CRI spotter. Even though the store bought spotters are cheaper, there’s no point in spending any money on something that doesn’t work the way it should. If you’re going to buy a spotter, then you should buy one that can do what you need it to do, and that’s providing an extra measure of cleaning to tough stains and spots that just need a little more power.

Mystery Shopping 3 Most Recognized Carpet Cleaning Companies

Reveals Poor Service and Inadequate Cleaning Systems

We hired a consulting firm to mystery shop our three biggest competitors to confirm the real differences between our service and others. The findings not only confirmed the hard earned leadership position that we have, but also raised some real concerns about these supposedly expert companies.

Three companies were chosen because of the brand recognition associated with them. These three companies would also be considered our biggest competitors . Even though we feel that we don’t have any competition, and we maintain a leadership and educational position that no other carpet cleaning company in the city enjoys, we wanted to see things from your perspective. We wanted to see how things looked through the eyes of the client. So we paid a consulting firm to book one carpet cleaning job from each of the companies.

The findings shocked even us!

The first company that was called not only had horrible telephone manners, but sent out the rudest, unprofessional, uninformed crew you could imagine. They never said thank you and acted like they were being bothered the whole time they were there (which was a total of 37 minutes!). This crew did not pre-vacuum the carpet, didn’t pre-spot it, or even groom it. Even though the spots were not satisfactorily removed they remained unconcerned and unwilling to try harder.

Their one-step method doesn’t even come close to meeting minimum IICRC Standards. Due to the fact that they just brushed over the carpet with the cleaning tool, the soils returned before the day was even over! At the end of the job, our consultant was required to sign a lengthy document. They would not state a reasonable guarantee (the company had stressed their guarantee to secure the job over the telephone). To top it off, these idiots never said thank you. Not even a smile the entire time proved that a customer is just another bother in their day. How sad.

The second company at first sounded more promising than the first.

Their telephone courtesies were somewhat better, but not anywhere near what they should be. The problem with this company was that they gave us a 2pm-5pm arrival window. At 1 o’clock our consultant called to check on the arrival time. Toward the latter he was told. At 4:10pm, he called again the crew is still at their previous job. They should be about an hour. At 5:10, still no crew. Another call revealed that they were still at the previous job. When pressed the operator said Well, their previous job went from 2 rooms to 2 houses Oh, so you took on more work on your previous job and bumped me huh? our consultant replied. Let me get the operations manager The operations manager said it’s only 5:10! insinuating that they weren’t actually late. They couldn’t give a specific arrival time, so our consultant canceled this job. If a company doesn’t care enough to communicate with the client, turn down extra work, and/or offer alternate arrangements for their clients, they don’t deserve the work, no matter how good they might be. If you’re not there, you can’t very well do a good job now can you?

The third company was better than the first two, but lacked what it takes to be considered a top company.

Booking the job was about as average as the other two. Incorrect information, and ignorance ran throughout this experience. This company gave a 2 hour window. They called the day before to confirm which was good. The morning of the appointment, they called to confirm the arrival time. Good. When the technician arrived, he was very nice. That was not enough to get them more than a C Average due to the inexperience of the young man that came.

He didn’t know anything about the carpet although he claimed to have been around carpetfor a long time. He thought the carpet was wool by looking at it (it was nylon) This technician pre-vacuumed the carpet, and pre-sprayed the traffic area, and rinsed. Upon completion, he requested a signature beside several cleaning steps that were not provided. When pressed, we got the tired, old well I didn’t have it on the truck Duh!

Both companies that came out had carpet cleaning steps on their work order that they were unwilling to do. One was grooming the carpet. In both cases, it was on the ticket (put their by their operational system to make sure they do it). Both blew it off as unimportant.

Obviously any company has their bad days, or days when employees just don’t want to perform. The scary part about these three companies is that they are the most recognized brands in our industry and these inadequacies and poor attitudes were obviously routine.

AYC Cleaning Systems, Inc. is passionate about raising the standard of our industry. We commit to providing you with the most outstanding service experience ever. Guaranteed or your money back!
